Name: Jasmine Voges
Age: 36
Jasmine loves the discipline needed to achieve the result – a set of steps that you have to execute just right in order to achieve the goal. I’m a perfectionist by nature so there’s a constant drive to do better than I did the last time or better than I’ve done before.

Favourite Archery Memory?
I keep making new favourites all the time but right now it would be taking each of my 2 children around the course for their first archery competition.
In 2010, when both Chris & I won the Qld & Australian Titles, Shooter of the Year for our respective divisions & I was privileged in being awarded the Margaret Cowan Award. I was so honoured to be recognised for such a prestigious award, it is very humbling. To top it off, I also robin-hooded the last arrow shot for the national titles which was a real buzz.

Are Any Family Members Involved In Archery?
Yes! My family and I started archery when I was 7 years old and we’ve been shooting ever since. I met my husband at our archery club and we now have 2 children (9 and 4) who also shoot with us. Most of our conversations around the dinner table come back to archery in some way or other – we literally live and breathe it.

Any Last Words?
I would recommend archery as a sport for any family looking for something that they can do together. It has helped my family and I make some priceless memories and meet some wonderful friends. I’m really grateful to have been able to be involved in the sport for as long as I have and I can’t wait to see what our next archery adventure will be.
