How Did You Start Archery?

My Nephew did Archery and I thought it was something I could do on my own.

How Many Years Have You Been Involved In Archery?

I’ve been involved for 8 years! I started Archery at the age of 50.

Who's Your Local Club?

My Local Archery Club’s are ABA, which is Manning Great Lakes Archery and 3DAAA is Lake Glenbawn.

What Type of Archery Do You Shoot?

ABA and 3D Archery using a Compound Bow with sights using fingers.

Do You Hunt?

No, I don’t hunt, but I have been considering it.

Favourite Archery Memory?

My favourite archery memory was competing in my first World Field Archery held in Wagga Wagga and coming a close second!

What About Archery Appeals To You?

It’s something I can do on my own (once set up) and it takes you to various locations where we catch up with existing archers and meet new ones too.

Are Any Family Members Involved In Archery?

My son. He now travels with me and he shoots a recurve.

First and Current Bow?

My first bow was a Bowtech. My current bow and set details arrows are PSE Phenom with Timberdoodle 11 arrow rest, Axcel pin sights, and GoldTip Velocity Pro 600 Arrows. This is my main bow however I also have a Diamond Medalist 38 with a Trophy Taker drop away arrow rest, which I can change the sights and arrows depending on use.

What Are Some of Your Great Achievements In Or Outside of Archery?

Family first; but as for archery, it would be competing in World Field Championships in Wagga Wagga and South Africa. Winning Gold in New Zealand at World Indoor Championships and breaking a record! My special award for my achievements from ABA, and also making the Top Ten at 3DAAA as a finger shooter and winning the longest shot at Moonan Flat.

Do You Have Any Sponsors?

No. I currently don’t have any sponsors, however, I was previously sponsored by Benson for 2 Years.
